Career reinvention coaching for high-achieving women
You climbed the ladder. Now you're not sure you want what's at the top.
You lead the team, run the household, and absorb everyone's stress. Somewhere along the way your values changed and your career didn't. That Girl, Reimagined helps you figure out who you are now, and build a working life that actually fits her.

- On paper, it looks good. You followed the playbook, and the money makes it seem worth it.
- You still show up and do it well. You just don't believe in it the way you used to.
- You carry a lot: the team, the kids, the family stress nobody else seems to notice.
- You know something has to change. You're not sure what, and you can't afford to guess wrong.
That feeling isn't something a vacation fixes. It usually means the goal you're chasing belongs to an older version of you.
The TGR Reinvention Method
From "something has to change" to "I know who I am now."
Coaching grounded in industrial and organizational psychology, the study of how people behave at work and what keeps them satisfied there. It's structured enough to move you forward and loose enough that you're the one leading.
-
Get honest about where you are
We take a snapshot of your whole life, not just your job, and find the one area you're most ready to change.
-
Separate circumstances from identity
Some of what feels wrong is the job. Some of it is an old version of you that you're still performing. We figure out which is which.
-
Make a real plan
What the change looks like in specific terms, what you already have to work with, what's most likely to derail you, and your first few moves.
-
Do the work, and adjust
Regular sessions where you set the agenda. When an old pattern shows up, I'll name it, and we'll decide what you want to do differently this time.
-
See the shift
We re-measure at the end and put it next to where you started, so you can see what moved instead of taking anyone's word for it.
Two ways to work together
Identity work needs enough time to actually take.
Hi, I'm Alana
Finishing what I started
AP Psychology was my favorite class senior year, which speaks volumes because high school as a senior is annoying. It became my college major, and I fell hard for Industrial and Organizational Psychology: the study of human behavior at work. I spent part of it entering survey data for a graduate thesis about employee satisfaction. I had no idea how much that theme would show up in my life.
After that I just sort of flowed through opportunities. School psychologist (hated it). Educational technology (loved it). Working with NFL players, for what felt like a cup of coffee. A blockchain credentialing startup. Then a SaaS company, where I was the kind of leader with what I like to call "lore and lure."
Then we bought our first home, had one kid, had another kid, and next thing you know we had BILLS bills. I came back from leave into a sales manager role. I'm not a seller, at least not in the conventional sense. But I fell in love with the money and the money only. I was literally waking up in the middle of the night to add things to my to-do list. How dreadful?
I stayed two more years, still bringing the best version of myself, and still hating it. When I finally took some leave to quiet my mind, I went back to my nineteen-year-old self. She reminded me that what I'm so good at, leadership and development, can be combined with my training.
She didn't know she was building the foundation for anything. She just liked the class. Two decades later I'm using the same training to help other women find their way out of their own messy jobs.
That's what That Girl, Reimagined is. It's me, finally listening to the nineteen-year-old who already knew.
